Selling and buying
As any collector does, I often buy too many watches and this means I also have to, reluctantly, sell some of my timepieces. Sometimes rare vintage Citizen watches I have to let go only because I want to buy another one and I need the funds. Unfortunately we can’t have them all and I try to keep myself inside a certain self-imposed limit. 🙂 If you find one that you like here, let me know! In the “AVAILABLE WATCHES” part you can click the links for the articles or (sometimes) Ebay listings.
I have 100% positive feedback on E-bay and many references available upon request and I will do my best to keep it the same way.
In case you inspect the watch and that is not as described (pictures are part of the description) I accept returns in a 3 days period. Please ask all the questions (and pictures as many as you need) prior to buying the desired watch.
Shipping worldwide from inside European Union will be added to the price depending on your choice. I accept pay pal (plus pay pal fees) and/or direct bank transfer (no fee).
Post a comment here and tell me if you are looking for a certain watch that is not currently on sale and if it becomes available I will contact you. Some of the other watches in my articles will be sold eventually. You can also comment here, on this page, if you are interested in any of these watches and I will answer on your e-mail address.

Hi Flavio! Thanks for your message! I have two, indeed, both of them are in excellent condition, both Chrono Master Chronometer day – date. One is 4-520840-Y and the other one is ACSS2929-Y. Even though they are 100% identical the cases have different numbers because one is older then the other (a few months). Which one are you interested in? By the way, I answered you on e-bay too, but on e-bay prices are higher because of all the fees sellers have to pay.

Having just taken delivery of the 4th 150m diver I have purchased from you, it struck me that whilst the first two were bought via eBay, where one can leave feedback on the transaction, a purchase via Facebook or a blog site like VCW isn’t inclusive of that sort of facility. So I thought it might be a good idea just to post my thoughts if not only for yourself but for the countless number of your followers who may be considering a purchase from you.
Your eBay feedback rating is 100% positive, and from my own experience is a totally accurate reflection of the service you provide with regard the categories namely; the item as described, communication, dispatch time and postage. I am pleased to say that my purchases from you outside of the eBay marketplace still uphold those categories 100%. Additionally, I would like to add the category of integrity. The Oxford English Dictionary’s definition is “The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles” – a little embellished perhaps, but I have found your honesty about the condition and history of each of the watches that I’ve had from you most refreshing. Also I have no doubt that your preference for a sale is to an enthusiast such as myself rather than a dealer or someone who is out to make a profit. You have one of the most prolific knowledges around with regard to vintage Citizens and in my experience you are very happy to share it with other enquiring minds.

Hi! Well… it depends on a lot of factors. Some like divers, some chronographs, some really nice movements. Some like historic pieces and some watches with a modern look ready to wear. It depends on the budget too. 😉 Give me more details so I can give you a better opinion. I am interested in Chronograph and Dress watch. I had glance through net and find out that on top of dress watch are Citizen GC and Highness. Have no idea about chronograph. I am basically interested with Citizen watches with historical value and good movements. Do you have any GC?

The Glorious is rare and really expensive. I have yet to find one in decent good condition worth buying. A good start would be a Chrono Master (try the Chronometer variants) – I have two for sale that are listed on this page. Divers are also very collectable. (depending on the model)

1 – the Super Ace I have… is the only one I have seen like this
2 – I might have a Recordmaster (the Rally custom version) for sale in a few weeks (write me again in two weeks) – I just sold one a few days ago.
3 – I might sell the Speedy on the blog if I find something else (i am negotiating right now with someone) so… write me back in two weeks about this too. 😉
My best advice is to get watches in original good condition because finding parts is close to impossible.

I’m no stranger to the venerable 8110, having restored a 9119 three years ago. Unfortunately my dial isn’t top-notch and I’m on the lookout for a replacement. Let me know if you’ve got one.
I’d also like to know your opinions on the “aftermarket” hands-sets on eBay, the register hands in particular. How different are they from the genuine? I’ve noticed a small shape difference but given the scarcity of genuine parts, I thought I’d get a set to replace my register hands.

As a piece of advice: get the best watch you can have in the first place, restoring is most of the time… not easy.

Hi there, I stumbled across a pretty sizeable vintage Citizen collection on Chrono24 by seller GMTSKY from LA, USA. It’s like he has a time machine, going ‘back to the future’ with brand new watches and selling them for big bucks. Or is something else going on?

Received my Citizen Dandy Seven like 15 minutes ago, and man, it is surely a stunning piece! My first watch was a Citizen bought by my aunt when I was like 10, and I did not have any Citizen watch after that until now. I have had a lot of watches in and out for years, and I recently started to looking for vintage Japanese automatic pieces, I have to say this piece will be forever in my collection 🙂
